A: It wasn't until I borrowed my mom's old DSLR for my 2016 trip out to Nashville, TN that I first got to use a real camera.  I got my start with portraits  the following year, photographing friends, high school seniors, and really anyone who would let me take a picture of them. As time went on, my hobby turned into a full blown passion, and a means to put myself through college. Today, capturing people through photography is still my favorite thing to do. 

A: I've photographed over 50 weddings as the lead photographer, and I've had over 500 portrait sessions over the years. And since there's only 52 weekends in a year, my weekends have been basically filled with love stories and late-night celebrations ever since I became a photographer 5+ years ago!

A: Most of my couples do, but that totally depends on your needs. You can use the photos for your save-the-dates, invitations, website registries, guest books, framed prints for your guest table, bar, and your house... and of course Facebook & Instagram! Plus, it's a way for you to get a little practice in front of the camera before your big day and it gives us an opportunity to get to know each other! Personally, I highly recommend it. And heck, it's also a really great way to add to your experience as an engaged couple. Make the most of it! 

A: This might start getting a bit technical, but I personally use a combination of 3 Sony A7iii's with mostly prime lenses. I usually have two cameras holstered to me at all times throughout your wedding day so I never have to worry about changing lenses, switching memory cards, or changing batteries, because  every moment matters. I also use quite a bit of lighting equipment throughout the day so I can make the best of any lighting situation. 

A: Totally! But I want you feeling 1,000% comfortable and excited about the quality of your photographs before placing orders on those. That way, you only order exactly what you want, when you want, and when you know with confidence that they are going to look amazing on your walls and in your fine art heirloom albums. And all of this is done & ordered right through your online gallery! 

A: Yes, I do! Traditional payments are 50% due at the time of booking (within a week) and the final 50% is due 30 days prior to your wedding day. But, if you wanted to do the payment plan, I can stretch it into equal 1/3's or 1/4's if that works best for you. Just let me know what you prefer, and I will make it happen. It's that easy.

In the super unlikely event that I am too ill, injured, or there's some other emergency,  I have a list of trusted colleagues that I can call on to replace me that have similar styles of photography & editing. That said, in the 5+ years I've been doing this full-time, I have never even been 60 seconds late. You're in good hands. I promise.
